About Us
🎮 At ThreadXP, we don’t just make t-shirts—we level them up.
Every design here is hand-drawn by real artists (not bots), and powered by a lifetime of comic books, game nights, and failed dice rolls. Whether you're a console warrior or a chaotic bard, this shop is for you.
About the Artists
Hey, I’m Andy Gray. You might know me from andygrayart.com or maybe from a Warhammer table or D&D session gone hilariously off the rails.
I’m an artist who grew up loving comics, animation, and gaming—and I’ve spent the better part of the last decade bouncing between all three. I went to school for animation (comics weren’t a major yet), worked in radio advertising, took over a local gaming store, and taught more people how to play card games and tabletop than I can count. I’ve drawn storyboards for big brands, built 3D models, crafted characters, designed comics—and probably sketched a beholder or two on napkins at some point.
In 2023, after getting hit in a round of layoffs from a creative agency position, I decided to double down on what I love: making art for the kind of people I’ve always loved creating with—gamers, storytellers, and chaos gremlins alike.
This brand is a collection of everything I love about gaming culture: the humor, the camaraderie, the storytelling, the “what if we put a cowboy hat on the dragon” kind of vibe. All of the art here is made by me—no AI, no outsourced templates, just stylized work that’s born from the same hands that have drawn comics, run campaigns, and helped players build their first D&D character sheets.
Along the way, my wife Simone Ferguson has quietly helped shape this project too. She ran our game store with me for seven years, and while she’s a fine artist herself (working in watercolor, copic, and traditional media), her magic here is behind the scenes—helping sketch out concepts and brainstorming the cuter, quirkier designs you’ll see in the mix.
Whether you’ve just rolled a nat 1 or you’re mid-arc in your homebrew saga, I hope you find something here that makes you smile, laugh, or say “yeah, that’s going on a shirt.”
Welcome to the party.
Why This Matters
* Every piece in this shop is hand-drawn by Andy.
* This is art made by a gamer, for gamers—not a faceless, AI-spun drop ship.
* The goal: to make stuff that feels like your group’s in-jokes, your Friday night energy, and your best campaign stories.
If you ever want to reach out, share your favorite session moment, or suggest something wild you'd love to see designed—drop a note to stories@threadxp.co . I'm always down to hear your stories.
